Saints duo back

David Connolly and Lloyd James could return to the Southampton squad for the visit of Leeds. Striker Connolly has been sidelined since the turn of the year with a niggling groin problem while an ankle injury kept has midfielder James out for the past month. But both have resumed full training this week and should be in the match-day party. Winger Lee Holmes will be missing for another fortnight as he rests a groin problem and veteran full-back Graeme Murty is struggling to play again this season after undergoing ankle surgery last month. Alan Pardew's side slipped 16 points off the play-off pace following last weekend's surprise defeat at Tranmere which brought their eight-match unbeaten run to a halt.
