Big money: Santa Cruz
Unsettled Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz can leave Ewood Park - for£40million.
Manager Sam Allardyce is adamant that the Paraguay striker will stay with Blackburn unless a club offers a British record - Kaka apart - for Santa Cruz.
Manchester City had a bid of£15m for the striker turned down and Allardyce said: 'We are not selling Santa Cruz. He is more valuable to us that any money another club might offer.
'Staying in the Premier League is worth£40million and no one is going to pay that for him but yes, we would accept that amount.
'The board would not take too kindly if I said 'no' to£40million.'
