Greening Signs From Albion

Fulham have confirmed the signing of midfielder Jonathan Greening from West Bromwich Albion on a two-year contract. Greening, 31, spent last season on loan at Craven Cottage after Fulham had failed with two previous bids to sign him on a permanent basis. He was loaned to Craven Cottage after handing in a transfer request. Greening had a year remaining on his contract at The Hawthorns, but chose not to return there despite Albion's promotion back to the Premier League. The former Manchester United and Middlesbrough player made 23 league appearances for Fulham last season and featured in the Europa League final against Athletico Madrid.
