De Vries: Break has served Swans

Roberto Martinez's men claimed a 3-1 victory over Barnsley on Easter Monday to put themselves four points adrift of the play-off places with just three games remaining. And de Vries told the Western Mail that he believes the break at the end of March assisted in getting his side's promotion push back on track "The way we try to play, we need 100% concentration," he said. "We think fast and play at a high tempo and to do that you've got to be at your sharpest all the time. "But by the end of March we had started to let things slip a bit because we were tired. "Fair play to the manager, he spotted that, and he wasn't afraid to give us a couple of extra days off. Now we're fresh and right on top of things again."
