Carew targets more goals for Villa

Villa twice came from two goals behind in a 3-3 draw against Everton at Villa Park on Sunday, a result which left them eight points behind Arsenal, who currently lie in the coveted final Champions League place.Carew notched his 13th goal of the season in all competitions against the Toffees and he could not be happier with life at the club."I love it here, I feel it on the pitch," he told the Daily Mirror."If I didn't love it here you would see that on the pitch. I am really happy. I love the club, the fans, the staff and the group here, who are fantastic."I just want to continue and to do well the whole of next season - and avoid all the injuries which hindered me."I have scored a lot this season and if I hadn't been out for months it could have been a lot more this season. "I lost about 20 games, so it is a pity. But I am really satisfied with all of the goals in so few games."The Norway striker puts his impressive return this season down to the service he receives from the flanks thanks to James Milner and Ashley Young."We have two of the best wingers in the league," he added."It is a dream for a striker to have them feeding you balls and we are lucky to have them."Despite slipping further behind the Gunners in the race for fourth spot Carew has not given up all hope of finishing above them."We haven't given up, even though there is a big gap," he said."Arsenal have tough games coming up, hopefully they won't take many points against Chelsea, Man United and Liverpool, who are all fighting for the league."If we are lucky they will take one point from those games and we will win all our matches. We have the potential to win all of the games which are left."Villa have no problem scoring goals but Carew is aware that they have been guilty of leaking too many goals recently - 24 in the last 10 games. He added: "It was a tough game against Everton and it was a game we probably should have won. We scored three goals and it should have been enough at home."We've conceded a few goals but we have to work on everything in our game. We score a lot of goals but maybe concede a few too many."But we came back from 3-1 down and had a lot of great performances through the whole team. The team was quite strong mentally." Aston Villa 4/6, Draw 13/5, West Ham 9/2
