Prem duo cross swords for Egyptian ace

Sunderland and West Brom are battling one another to land in-demand Egyptian star Ahmed Al-Muhammadi, according to reports. Al-Muhammadi has long been linked with a move to England, and has spent time on trial with the likes of Blackburn and Sunderland.The 22-year-old, who can play anywhere down the right, is now set for a move to the Premier League - with Sky Sports claiming both Sunderland and West Brom are looking to take him on loan.His club ENPPI are now considering their options, but they are believed to be open to the idea of letting Al-Muhammadi leave on loan - with a view to a permanent deal.Sources in Egypt suggest Al-Muhammadi could travel to England for talks this week.
