Moyes - Arteta seems positive

Everton manager David Moyes believes Mikel Arteta is feeling positive in the early stages of his recovery from a knee injury. Arteta was ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a cruciate ligament injury in the 0-0 draw at Newcastle in February. The Spanish midfielder is back in his homeland after undergoing surgery and has been visited by Everton physio Mick Rathbone. He is expected to return to fitness for the early part of next season and Moyes is pleased with the influential schemer's progress.Early days"Baz has been out to see Mikel and from what he has told me the initial stage of his recovery is going well," said Moyes."I have also spoken to Mikel and he seems to be quite positive in his frame of mind. He is staying with his parents in Spain for the time being."I think he will come back here at some point in the next few weeks, but when that is, I don't know. Mikel has his own private trainer in Spain and he is looking after him."But he is under the orders of the surgeons at the minute not to do too much. It's early days, but we know he is fine and that the operation went well."
