Jackson hoping to keep Patulea

Patulea arrived at Sincil Bank as a virtual unknown but has enjoyed a successful season with the Imps, topping their goalscoring charts with 11 goals. But he suffered a hamstring tear against Chesterfield on Wednesday, bringing his season to a premature end, leading him to suggest he had played his last game for the club - a view not shared by Jackson."It was a bit immature of him to say that," said Jackson. "But he's a bit upset to miss the run-in and maybe the play-offs."It's certainly not the case (that he will leave). He has done well for me and his goal record suggests that."We need to get these two Easter games out of the way and then sit down with the chairman. A lot depends on how we finish the season."
