Taylor eyes Cardiff stay

On-loan Cardiff goalkeeper Stuart Taylor has said he would like to stay with the club beyond his current contract. The 28-year-old, on-loan from Aston Villa, penned an initial one-month deal at the beginning of March taking him through to Monday's upcoming clash with Burnley. Settled as first choice keeper at Ninian Park, Taylor has expressed an interest in extending his stay with the Championship club. Not ruling out a permanent move, the Romford-born shot-stopper say's he is hoping to begin talks soon with Bluebirds boss Dave Jones over his future with the club. "I don't really know what the manager's plans are at the moment but come the end of the season it (an extended loan or permanent switch) could be a possibility," Taylor told the club's official website. "I'd need to talk things over with my family should such an opportunity arise, but if something comes up then I'd certainly be interested in considering sticking around for longer."
