Coventry City set to offer former Wigan striker Marlon King deal ahead of prison release

On his way back? Coventry could offer King a deal Coventry City are keen on disgraced striker Marlon King. King, 30, is serving an 18-month jail term for sexual assault but is due to released before the start of next season. The former Wigan man is a free agent after having his contract terminated by them after being convicted last October. Coventry manager Aidy Bothroyd guided King through the most successful period of his career at Watford. And Bothyroyd is ready to give King a route back into professional football once he leaves prison. Queens Park Rangers are also keeping tabs on King's situation.
