Slade: Seagulls can still survive

Ali Gerba netted his ninth goal of the season for MK Dons in the 29th minute before Jason Puncheon wrapped up the points 10 minutes later. Albion are now eight points away from League One safety with just seven games remaining, but Slade remains confident of beating the drop. "It may be that four wins and a draw might be good enough (to stay up) but we need to win as many games as we can now," said the former Yeovil boss. "We've got a lot of injury problems and it was a difficult afternoon. They started better - which you would expect them to at home - and it took us a while to grow into the game. "The first goal changed the game and was a step back. You've got to be strong but it's a mental thing and that's what happens when you're down there at the bottom. But you never know, we had our chances, it just didn't go our way."
