Benitez hails Reds' mentality

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez believes his side have a 'winning mentality' following their dramatic late victory at Fulham. The Reds returned to the top of the Premier League, overtaking Manchester United and opening a two-point lead, as Yossi Benayoun struck deep into stoppage time at Craven Cottage.Benitez saw his side dominate in West London but it appeared they were going to be forced to settle for a stalemate as a host of chances went begging, with the framework of the Fulham goal rattled on four occasions. However, after Israel international Benayoun grabbed the victory, the former Valencia boss - who uncharacteristically leapt into the air on the final whistle - is in a positive mood as a tense title race gathers pace. He said: "I haven't seen myself yet but it was a very, very important goal at a crucial time."There was relief. You cannot say you will score in the last minute but we always play to the end."We have the winning mentality. It is better not to say things but to do things and the players always believe they can score in the last minute."Today I was really pleased. We have a lot of confidence, but as a manager you have to be calm."
