Ipswich won't sell striker Wickham

Roy Keane, the Ipswich Town manager, has insisted that Connor Wickham - who scored the winner in the final as the England U17 side became champions of Europe last month - will not leave Portman Road this summer Wickham, 17, who scored four senior goals for Ipswich last season, has been touted as a summer target for several Premier League games. Keane, however, has said that letting Wickham leave the club is not on his agenda. "Connor is very much one for the future and we believe he is going to be a top, top player. He had a very good end to the season, even away with England [U17s], and Connor is very much part of our plans," he told Ipswich's official website. "From the Club and the owner's point of view, we are under no pressure to sell him. That is good news for everyone because we need players like Connor to produce next year if we are going to have a successful season."
