Pompey sent to Coventry on opening day

Portsmouth will begin their 2010-11 Championship campaign with a trip to Coventry, ending the season with an away fixture at Scunthorpe. Pompey, who were relegated after finishing bottom of the Premier League last term, head to the Ricoh Arena on August 7.They then face Reading a week later in their first home game of the new season.Millwall provide the opposition at Fratton Park on Boxing Day while January 1 brings a trip to Watford.Pompey will finish the season with a trip to Scunthorpe on May 8.
