Hammill absent for Forest crunch

Barnsley will be without on-loan winger Adam Hammill for Saturday's Championship clash with relegation rivals Nottingham Forest at Oakwell. Hammill, drafted in from Liverpool in February, has been struggling with damaged ankle ligaments and has targeted a return at Sheffield United next Tuesday. But manager Simon Davey has no other new injury or suspension worries and the squad could be boosted by the return of forward Kayode Odejayi, who has returned from his loan spell at Scunthorpe. Davey is hoping Malta internationals Michael Mifsud and Daniel Bogdanovic both return from the recent World Cup qualifiers unscathed, while Anderson De Silva is expected to have shaken off a slight knee injury sustained at Derby. The Tykes, beaten only once in their last four league matches, could leapfrog Blackpool and go level with Derby in 18th place if they beat third-bottom Forest.
