Robins close in on Celtic pair

Swindon chairman Andrew Fitton has revealed the club are in discussions to bring two unnamed Celtic players to the County Ground. Town have strong links with the Scottish giants after signing Scott Cuthbert on a permanent transfer from the Bhoys last summer, while they also drafted in Ben Hutchison and Simon Ferry on loan.It seems unlikely that Ferry will be able to be recruited again, but Fitton is optimistic a minimum of one other Hoops player will be at the club next season.Fitton told the Swindon Advertiser: "I could quite confidently say you will see at least one or possibly two current Celtic players in our squad next season."You don't know if that will be loans or permanent transfers until you have further conversations, but we are talking."He added: "Celtic have been so impressed with Simon Ferry's performances here that they want him back for pre-season training. It's because we've done a great job with him. We took him on when he had come back from a serious injury and gave him game time."
