Newcastle are again linked with former Rangers forward Kris Boyd. According to reports in Glasgow, the Scotland striker would encourage interest from the Magpies . even though there has been no formal contact from the club. Given that there are few international strikers available as free agents, Boyd says he would like a meeting with Chris Houghton and is confident he could be playing in black and white next season.
