Zaki uncertain over future

On-loan Wigan striker Amr Zaki is unsure what the future holds amidst reports parent club El Zamalek are asking for £12million for his services. The 25-year-old has proved a hit in the Premier League since moving on a season-long and Latics boss Steve Bruce is keen to agree a permanent deal.Real Madrid were also linked with Zaki earlier in the campaign, but it remains unclear where the Egypt international will be playing next term.Zaki has stated his desire to stay in the Premier League, however, the rumoured price tag could prove out of reach for Wigan. He told the Daily Star on Sunday: "Zamalek have slapped a hefty price tag on me. "I don't know where I will play next season but why would I want to leave the strongest league competition in the world?"
