Boss: Sandaza suitors put off by injuries

Dundee United boss Peter Houston does not expect Francisco Sandaza to be the subject of any bids despite speculation about a move to La Liga. The 25-year-old has been linked with both Getafe and Racing Santander in his homeland.Sandaza's season was wrecked by a double hernia problem that sidelined him for much of the campaign and he is back in Spain working on his fitness ahead of pre-season.Houston believes his injury woes will scupper any offers this time around but does eventually expect the forward to attract the attention of other clubs. He told the Dundee Evening Telegraph: "Fran is a very good player, someone I rate highly, but his injury means he has only started one game in the past season."Hopefully, his problems are behind him and he'll be back scoring goals for us next season."And my feeling is, once he is doing that, you'll see people having a serious look at him."Speculation continues to surround the rest of United's Active Nation Scottish Cup-winning squad. But Houston added: "We have not had a single call from a club wanting to buy any of our players."
