Inter declare Milito interest

Inter Milan have been linked with a move for Genoa striker Diego Milito. The Rossoblu president Enrico Preziosi has confirmed that preliminary talks have already opened between the player and the Serie A leaders.Preziosi admitted that Genoa would struggle to compete with Inter in terms of what they could offer the Argentinean star.With clubs such as Tottenham and Juventus also expressing an interest, Milito looks certain to leave Luigi Ferrais in the summer.Money talks"Milito has a deal with Genoa but we cannot pay him anymore than we do now," Preziosi told Corriere dello Sport."If Inter offer more money we will not be able to compete. We can only pay what we do now.He added: "If Inter, or anyone else, wants to buy Milito, they have not only to make an offer to the player but to Genoa as well."If we receive an interesting offer we will sit down and discuss it. But it will have to be an interesting offer for us."
