The January transfer window and accompanying "Silly Season" is now in full swing at Turf Moor, where so many rumours abound it is almost impossible to keep up with the sheer pace and number of them.Burnley manager Sean Dyche, never a man known to mince his words recently said, "We’ve been linked with so many. It’s every year, it’s either someone linking us with one of our players going out, or one coming in. We just try to do our business as respectfully as we can." Sifting the wheat from the chaff is mightily difficult, Robbie Brady of Norwich City looked like an inbound to make a lot of sense. Burnley are attempting to strengthen their left flank and the Republic of Ireland international fits the Sean Dyche mould to a tee.Brady would ostensibly be reunited with his old pal and Eire international colleague Jeff Hendrick. The two played together as youngsters for St. Kevin's Boys Club in Dublin. Brady can operate as a full back or wide midfielder and is naturally left footed.His home club though refuse to come to an agreement because of the recent sale of Martin Olsson to Swansea City. The transfer leaves the Canaries exposed at left back and Burnley are also reported to be falling well short of the Norwich valuation of Brady.Hull City's Robert Snodgrass is also understood to be of interest to Clarets' gaffer Sean Dyche, although the likely £10 million sale of Jake Livermore to West Bromwich Albion might well deter Hull from releasing Snodgrass.Hull have also implemented a twelve month extension to the Snodgrass/Tigers' contract, meaning the player now has eighteen months at Hull not six, as Snodgrass originally thought.The Sun suggest Burnley are interested in signing former Tottenham starlet Alex Pritchard, who is now plying his trade at Carrow Road. Swansea City are also reported to be vying for the services of the Norwich wide man.Reports are coming in from the Daily Mail that the BBC's favourite mix up Burnsley (sic) and Barnsley have agreed a fee of £3.5 million to bring the Reds' central defender Marc Roberts to Turf Moor.This move has inevitably triggered rumours that Leicester City who are on the lookout for a centre half, might now be about to raise their sights and bid again for Burnley's England hopeful Michael Keane.Keane was the subject of a reported offer of £15 million from the Foxes in August which was rejected by Clarets' manager Sean Dyche. The aging Leicester central defensive pairing of Robert Huth and Wes Morgan now look to be nearing their sell by date.Foxes supremo Claudio Ranieri might just be tempted to break the bank for a young English centre half who continues to impress at the top table of English League football. A new improved offer for Keane might not be far away, especially with the news of the impending arrival of Roberts to Turf Moor.West Ham have expressed an interest in Burnley striker Andre Gray and an offer of £15 million has already been rejected by the Clarets. Gray is reported to be "happy" at Turf Moor and it is unlikely the inform striker will be leaving Burnley anytime soon.Aston Villa scouts are reported to be interested in the young Burnley winger Josh Ginnelly. The player has just returned to his home club following a successful loan spell with the Villains' Birmingham neighbours Walsall.Steve Bruce is apparently looking to tie down a few stars for the future and Ginnelly fits that particular bill perfectly.
