Goalkeeper Julian Speroni is reportedly awaiting permission from Crystal Palace to discuss a summer move to Middlesbrough or West Ham. The cash-strapped Eagles are likely to sell 31-year-old Speroni this summer in a bid to ease their financial worries.Palace administrator Brendan Guilfoyle says the club is on a "knife-edge" after he terminated the employment of 29 members of staff.The Hammers know their number one Robert Green could leave Upton Park this summer if he has a successful World Cup with England.And with Boro boss Gordon Strachan also interested in Speroni's services, the Argentinian admits he is keeping his options open."A footballer's career is a short career and sometimes you have to do what's best for your family and yourself," he told the Ealing Gazette. "A lot of things are going on at the moment though, so we will see what happens."
