WORLD CUP 2010: Scare for Robin van Persie as Arsenal star limps out of Holland training session

Robin van Persie has suffered a World Cup injury scare after limping out of a Holland training session with his ankle packed in ice. Just a week before the start of the tournament, the Arsenal striker went over on the ankle during a session at the Dutch training camp in Austria. He has only just returned from almost six months on the sidelines and scored both goals in Wednesday's 2-1 friendly win against Mexico. At the double: Robin van Persie scored twice in Holland's win over Mexico Coach Bert van Marwijk is anxious that his best striker should befit for their opening match against Denmark in Johannesburg on June 14.Van Persie suffered a serious ankle ligament injury playing forHolland in a friendly against Italy in November. It left him wonderingif he would ever get to South Africa, and his absence also provedcalamitous for Arsenal in their Premier League title pursuit.
