Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has told Ledley King not to be too hard on himself following his first England appearance for three years. The centre-back made his return to the international scene with a full 90-minute run-out in Monday's World Cup warm-up win over Mexico at Wembley.King scored the Three Lions' first goal in the 3-1 victory, but his defending was not always entirely convicing and he was critical of his own performance.Redknapp, though, believes the 29-year-old had a decent game and should not worry too much."Ledley is being too hard on himself. He made one or two mistakes, but he played well," said the Spurs boss in The Sun."If it wasn't for Ledley's bad knees, he would easily get into any team in the world."He is a fantastic footballer and deserves to be at the World Cup."
