Everton are set to open talks with Joseph Yobo over a new deal at Goodison Park.Yobo has just over a year to run on his current deal with his contract due to expire in 2010.The Nigerian international, who was David Moyes' first signing in charge of the club, has established himself as a key member of the squad since his arrival from Marseille in 2002.Moyes admits the club will look at the central defender's contract siuation in the near future."We haven't spoken about Joe's contract at the moment," Moyes told the Liverpool Echo. "That's something we'll be looking at I'm sure." Yobo is currently sidelined with a hamstring problem, but Moyes insists the injury is not too serious and that he could be back in action within three weeks."He had a sore back and he did a bit of training with us," added Moyes. "But then he felt his hamstring, so we had it scanned and it looks as though it's a grade one tear. "It shouldn't keep him out for too long but I'll be hoping to get him back within three weeks."
