Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko targeted for part-exchange deal

Lokomotiv Moscow will resume talks to sign Tottenham's Roman Pavlyuchenko next month and are prepared to offer Peter Odemwingie in part-exchange. The Russians want £8.5million for their Nigeria striker and claim to already have two offers from Barclays Premier League clubs. On track: Lokomotiv hope to wrap up a £10.5m deal for Roman PavlyuchenkoUp for grabs: Odemwingie (left) Lyon and Monaco are keen on former Lille striker Odemwingie, who has previously been linked to Fulham and Everton, and Lokomotiv hope an impressive World Cup will increase interest. If Tottenham would rather pursue other targets, such as Sevilla's Luis Fabiano and Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko, Lokomotiv will off-load the 28-year-old elsewhere to help fund a new cash bid for Pavlyuchenko.
