Former Fulham manager Jean Tigana named Bordeaux boss
Jean Tigana has been confirmed as the new coach of Bordeaux, replacing Laurent Blanc who is to take over as France coach after the World Cup. The club announced the appointment on Tuesday morning, with Tigana set to be introduced at a press conference this afternoon.Tigana has enjoyed success coaching with Lyon and Monaco in Ligue 1, while also having stints at Fulham and Besiktas. Tigana must also find a way to replace top scorer Marouane Chamakh, who last week signed for Arsenal.
