Klinsmann Welcomes Barca Test

Bayern Munich coach Jurgen Klinsmann feels his side have drawn the best team in Europe after being paired with Barcelona in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The Bundesliga champions will travel to the Nou Camp for the first leg, the scene of their 1999 final defeat to Manchester United where they led 1-0 for almost the whole game only to lose 2-1.Klinsmann's men crushed Sporting Lisbon 12-1 on aggregate in the last round, but the coach knows the Catalan giants, who head the Primera Liga table, will be an altogether different proposition. The former Germany boss told the club's official website: "This is a huge incentive for all of us, to mix it with the best team in Europe at the moment."That is something really special. Barcelona are a tough nut to crack. But everything is doable. That is what we believe. We don't need to hide."General manager Uli Hoeness feels having the second leg at home could prove key."That is a great story for our club," he said. "We always said when we play against the big boys then we want to be away first."And we have got that. For our fans it is a dream to have Barca in the second leg at the Allianz Arena."The first leg will take place at Camp Nou on Wednesday April 8, with the return back in Bavaria six days later.Quarter-final first legsTuesday April 7Manchester United v PortoVillarreal v ArsenalWednesday April 8Liverpool v ChelseaBarcelona v Bayern MunichQuarter-final second legsTuesday April 14Chelsea v LiverpoolBayern Munich v BarcelonaWednesday April 15Porto v Manchester UnitedArsenal v VillarrealSemi-finalsManchester United/Porto v Villarreal/ArsenalBarcelona/Bayern Munich v Liverpool/ChelseaFirst legs will be played on April 28/29.Second legs will be played on May 5/6.
