Cudicini's manner impresses Redknapp

Tottenham coach Harry Redknapp has paid tribute to Carlo Cudicini's professionalism after the Italian signed a new one-year deal. The 36-year-old joined Spurs in January, 2009 and made seven appearances last season before his campaign was curtailed after being injured in a serious road accident. But Cudicini is back in training and will be working throughout the summer with goalkeeping coach Tony Parks to improve his fitness ahead of the new campaign.Redknapp said: "It is great to see Carlo out on the training pitch again after everything he has been through. He is coming on fantastic and training well."If anyone was going to come back from something like this it would be him."He is dedicated, a top professional through and through, and has been there every Saturday to support the side."He has been brought up in the game - his father was a great goalkeeper at AC Milan and Carlo is exactly the same, a top-class person and professional."
