City boss wants Friend reunited

Exeter boss Paul Tisdale has expressed his desire for George Friend to return to St. James' Park just two years after he was sold to Wolves. Tisdale told Exeter's official website: "We would like to have George, we have told him we would like to have him and there is a place here for him."He is not going to commit himself until he knows what his options are. There is nothing else to it."Off the back of his performances in the last couple of months there are suddenly a lot of people interested in him again which I thought would be the case."The 22-year-old had loan spells at Millwall, Southend United, Scunthorpe United and Exeter last season.
