Pav sparks talk of Lokomotiv move

Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko has once again been linked with a return to Russia after watching Lokomotiv Moscow in action this weekend. The Spurs hitman, who moved to White Hart Lane for a fee in the region of £14million in September 2008, watched on from the stands as Lokomotiv beat Amkar Perm 2-0.The Russian outfit had been tipped to make a £10milllion bid for the 28-year-old this summer but Pavlyuchenko increased his chances of an extended stay in north London with a much better second half of the season, although the goals did dry up in the final weeks of the Premier League campaign.Despite the likelihood of Pavlyuchenko staying at Spurs, Lokomotiv Moscow president Nikolai Naumov told the Daily Mail: "In the coming days we will once again enter into negotiations about Pavlyuchenko."
