Newcastle United midfielder Nicky Butt could be set to enter management as player-manager of Oldham Athletic. Former Manchester United midfielder Butt has applied for the job . and he comes up against none other than ex-Newcastle gaffer Ossie Ardiles, who has also thrown his hat into the ring.
