Adam Johnson is desperate to go to the World Cup and put a perfect cap on his fairytale season. The Manchester City winger has been named in England manager Fabio Capello's 30-man provisional squad for South Africa, just a few months after stepping up from the Coca-Cola Championship. The 22-year-old said: 'Going to a World Cup would be a fantastic end to a brilliant season. I've come a long way - I was still playing in the Championship with Middlesbrough in January.'
