Bayern Munich will head to Madrid on Wednesday looking to reverse a worrying trend that has seen them struggle to beat Spanish clubs in recent years.Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid - the Bundesliga club's opponents on Wednesday - have knocked the Bavarians out of the Champions League at the semi-final stage in the past three seasons. And Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge hopes the arrival of Italian boss Carlo Ancelotti this summer will prompt a change."We've always lost to Spanish sides in recent years, but we want to show with Ancelotti at Atletico that we can get at least one, if not three points," Rummenigge said on the club's website.Defeat would not be so consequential this time around, even though Bayern are not planning on going down so easily in the Group D clash."This is the group phase and not the semi-finals, but we know that if we pick up points there, then we will have made a really good start to the season," said captain Philipp Lahm.Ancelotti has a doubt over the fitness of Mats Hummels, who limped out of Bayern's 1-0 win over Hamburg at the weekend."Tests haven't found anything, but we'll need to monitor it closely," said the former Borussia Dortmund defender. "I hope I will be fine for Wednesday."
