Kingston expects to leave Hearts

aryea Kingston has revealed he may have played his last game for Hearts and looks set to leave the club when his contract expires this summer. The Ghana midfielder will almost certainly need to take a pay cut if he is to stay at Tynecastle.Kingston was applauded from the field during Hearts' last Scottish Premier League game of the season against Celtic. He told Hearts.TV: "Normally, I'm very happy to stay here but because of one or two things - they promised me something would happen - I think it's the last game if nothing goes positive."I'm still waiting for them. If something goes well then hopefully they will see me again."I've had difficult times but, honestly, I've enjoyed every moment I've been in a Hearts shirt, even when I had difficult times."I still believed I could enjoy myself here."Kingston has had an up-and-down relationship with Hearts supporters, who have questioned his commitment to the club in the past. But the 29-year-old appears to have won them over in the last few months, judging by his reception on Sunday."I'm very happy with that," he said."When the fans were not happy with me, I don't blame them because they knew one side of the story."They deserved to boo me or say anything to me because they knew one side of the story. They don't know my side."One party was saying everything and always talking and I kept quiet. During that period, I don't blame them."I still believe that, if I had my chance again, I would prove to them that I still love this club and I would give everything I have for this club."Kingston is now focusing his attention on Ghana's World Cup campaign."My season is not over," said the midfielder, who was banned for the last World Cup in Germany."Even last week, I was doing extra training sessions and my team-mates would be laughing at me."I said to them, 'Hey, my season is not over'. I have an important assignment in front of me, I have to stay fit and enjoy my football."It's a very important moment in my career because I missed the last World Cup, so this one is quite important for me."
