Swings and roundabouts for Taylor

Greg Abbott's side were expected to challenge for top honours in League One this year after losing out in the play-offs last season, but they have failed to recapture that form and go into Saturday's game with Southend just four points above the drop zone. But Taylor, who is on-loan from Doncaster, fully expects them to survive, accepting that their position could be even worse."It's fortunate that we are in this position because we could be even further down and looking up," Taylor told the Carlisle News and Star."Carlisle did really well last year but sometimes, for whatever reason, with relatively the same squad of players, it doesn't work the following season and you have a difficult one."The aim is now to ensure survival and kick on for next season. You can see there is a lot of quality in the team and it is a decent-sized squad. I can't see any reason why the team can't push on next year."
