Dons were wasteful - Di Matteo

Former Manchester City trainee Marc Laird broke the deadlock in the 20th minute for Kenny Jackett's men, nodding in unmarked at stadium:mk.But manager Di Matteo, who saw his side miss a hatful of chances to equalise, has warned the Dons to rediscover the ruthless streak that has seen them reach the brink of automatic promotion."We had chances to score especially in the first half and we know we have got to take them against a team like Millwall," said Di Matteo."You are not going to get 10 chances and those ones you do get you have to put into the net. We have to do better. Conceding from a free-kick is too cheap, we have got to do better and I am disappointed about giving one away like that."Millwall sat very deep and had 10 bodies behind the ball but we kept on going and put them under pressure. We just needed a little break or to get on the end of a cross or a deflection."
