Scots must score as a unit - Burley

The Rangers striker was the only experienced forward named in Burley's 26-man squad for the double-header against Holland on March 28 and Iceland on April 1.While Miller boasts 40 caps, fellow strikers David Clarkson, Steven Fletcher, Chris Iwelumo and Ross McCormack have only seven between them. But Burley believes it will be the responsibility of the entire team to keep Scotland's qualification hopes alive."We've got options," he said. "There isn't pressure on one individual, it's a team."We are under pressure to try to qualify but it's not about one individual scoring goals, it's about a collective unit scoring goals."Kenny is experienced and Ross McCormack and Chris Iwelumo aren't experienced but it doesn't mean they can't do a good job."Scotland will be forced to head into the next two games without the services of the influential James McFadden and Burley admits the loss of the Birmingham forward is a major blow."James has shown that he's a top international player," he said."I spoke to (Birmingham boss) Alex McLeish and it's maybe just a week or so too early for James, which is frustrating."But he has had a nasty medial ligament injury and has been out for six or seven weeks so he is progressing well."It is a big loss because naturally you want all your talented players available and, unfortunately, James won't be ready for these two games."Burley is convinced there are goals within his squad despite the absence of McFadden, adding: "I've got to try to pick the best strikers available."We haven't totally ruled out Lee Miller. He's not in full training at the moment but we will see how he progresses in the next week or so."You choose your best squad with the players available and push on from there."The Scotland boss is also confident his squad is strong enough to return from Amsterdam with a positive result. He said: "We've got to do our best and earn the right to get a result."Individually, Holland are very much going to be favourites."But underdogs can win and we have to go there and work hard as a team and try to match them and hopefully get a result."
