Tottenham defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto has hailed Harry Redknapp for leading Spurs into the Champions League. Spurs secured fourth spot and a place in the qualifying round of the Champions League with a 1-0 win over rivals Manchester City on Wednesday.Assou-Ekotto believes Redknapp deserves all the praise for transforming Tottenham's fortunes after leading them from relegation worries at the wrong end of the table to fourth spot in 18 months."Everybody is happy with Harry Redknapp, he is very friendly, you can joke with him because he is a good manager," Assou-Ekotto told Sky Sports News."He is cool with you so we want to give the best for him and we don't want to make him sad."He knows every player is different, he does not try to make the team like an army."He is a simple manager and it is better like that."Assou-Ekotto remains hopeful Spurs can clinch third spot and secure qualification straight into the group stages of the Champions League at the expense of arch-rivals Arsenal.Spurs need to win at Burnley on Sunday and hope Arsenal, who have won just once in their last eight games, slip up at home to Fulham.Assou-Ekotto hopes Fulham can Tottenham a favour by beating Arsenal and keeping alive their hopes of finishing in third."Everything is possible in football," added Assou-Ekotto. "We beat Arsenal, we beat Chelsea so why not? Fulham can do it."
