PSG boss Unai Emery signs Poland midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak

New Paris St Germain manager Unai Emery has raided former club Sevilla to sign Poland midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak for an undisclosed fee.The 26-year-old, who was part of the Poland team eliminated from Euro 2016 on penalties by Portugal on Thursday, has signed a five-year deal.Krychowiak becomes PSG's second signing of the summer following Hatem Ben Arfa's arrival, with Emery looking to turn the French champions into a side capable of challenging for the Champions League."I am very proud to return to France and defend the colours of a club as ambitious as Paris Saint-Germain," Krychowiak, who previously had spells with Bordeaux, Reims and Nantes, told the club's official website."The opportunity to continue working with Unai Emery was obviously a major factor in my decision."I have joined Paris to live very strong emotions and with the ambition of winning as many trophies as possible. I am looking forward to this exciting next step in my career."The capital club later made Club Brugge defender Thomas Meunier their second signing of the day.The 24-year-old right-back, who had been linked with West Ham, became free to move to Paris following Belgium's quarter-final defeat to Wales, and he has signed a four-year deal."
