Pearson tight-lipped on Waghorn future

igel Pearson is refusing to rule out the possibility of tempting on-loan Sunderland striker Martyn Waghorn to Leicester on a permanent basis. Pearson's immediate focus is on the club's Championship play-off campaign but thoughts about Waghorn's future are likely to be at the back of his mind. The 20-year-old has been a huge success during his season at the Walkers Stadium, scoring 12 goals and winning the club's young player of the year award. Black Cats boss Steve Bruce has said he wants Waghorn as one of his first-team strikers next season but that could change if the Foxes win promotion to the Premier League and are in a financial position to make Sunderland an offer."It is a loan deal until the end of the season - however long that is for us. Then after that who knows?" said Pearson. "I don't want to rule anything out but, at this moment in time, I don't want to spend any time talking about it either. There is no point talking about it now as we are not there yet."There will be a time to address the situation but that time is not now because we have what we hope will be three more games to play this season."
