Jordan heaps praise on Spurs players

Tottenham assistant Joe Jordan believes the club have earned their shot at Champions League football next year after securing a top-four place. Spurs claimed a 1-0 win over City to ensure their place in the qualifying stages next season and Jordan is sure the team are worthy of the achievement."The players deserve everything," he told Radio Five Live."We've improved our form, especially at home, and the manner we got that fourth spot - going to our biggest rivals (for the position) and actually winning - that proves over the course of the season we deserve that spot."We're looking forward to it. Our fans have had a few disappointments overs the years and if we can get through hopefully we can get some big names to White Hart Lane."Jordan also revealed that securing European riches had cost manager Harry Redknapp a suit after some of the players doused him in iced water after the match."It's finished, it's in the bin," joked Jordan."The suit's gone but that's the least of his worries."
