Carew not chasing personal glory

Aston Villa striker John Carew insists finishing as the club's top scorer this season is not the be-all and end-all. Carew and Gabriel Agbonlahor are currently level on 16 goals in all competitions, although the young Englishman has more Premier League strikes with 13.While the Norwegian's primary job is to find the back of the net for Martin O'Neill's side, he is happy providing he is setting up goals for others.Carew has never set himself goal targets in the past and insists piping Agbonlahor to the club's golden boot award is not something he is dwelling on."I would be more than happy for Gabi to be top scorer," explained Carew."I would be proud of him and if I can help him do it, that would be great."If I am playing well and helping others, I'm happy."I never set targets. It's not something I think about."Villa remain firmly in the hunt for a fourth-place finish which would bring Champions League football next term and face a crucial clash on Saturday when they travel to fellow challengers Manchester City.
