Taylor targets long Bluebirds stay

The former Arsenal stopper has been restricted to just 12 appearances in all competitions for the Villans since moving to Villa Park from Arsene Wenger's Gunners in summer 2005.But the 28-year-old believes he can resurrect his career during his during his end-of-season loan spell at Ninian Park - and is determined to cement his place as the Bluebirds' number one keeper."It looks a fantastic set-up at Cardiff," he told the club's official website. "I need to play first-team football because I have been pushed aside a little bit at Villa."When I agreed to join Cardiff on loan I wasn't sure which goalkeepers were here. There has been a lot of coming and going and those I thought were here aren't. I was a little baffled at first."I am out of contract at the end of this season and Dave Jones has given me the chance to play a part in a push for promotion. That suits me fine and if I do well then that can only help me when it comes to landing a contract for next season."
