Etuhu focused on survival

Dickson Etuhu has warned Fulham must secure their top flight status before setting lofty targets. The Cottagers currently occupy a top half perch in the Premier League table with 10 games of the season remaining. They remain in the hunt for a European place, with seventh spot likely to be enough to book a place in next year's Uefa Europa League. However, the club are yet to reach the 40-point mark and Etuhu believes any thoughts of continental competition must be put to rest until safety is guaranteed."We don't want to speak about Europe. None of the boys talk about that," the midfielder said in the Daily Express."We just want to get to 40 points and take it from there."That's not a bad mentality. We're just being realistic. Last year we almost went down."It's only after we've got to that safety mark of 40 to 43 points that we can go out, express ourselves and start thinking about Europe."Right now none of the boys are thinking about it."
