We're not done yet, insists Mawene

The defender played through the pain barrier on his return to action in Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday and believes the supporters should be optimistic about their progress.Mawene, whose side currently lie ninth in the table, told the club's official website: "The season's not over. We have still got a good tally and we have got everything to play for, we've got a local derby, things to look forward to."If people can't get excited by things like this then I am surprised, the players are up for it and we will keep going."The table doesn't lie, we are where we should be in the table based on our performances this season. Obviously we have slipped out of the play-offs but if you look at points rather than positions we are only a point away from teams like Sheffield United and that's not bad."There are eight games to go and we are in a good position overall. It's all about the next game for us and taking the next one like the cup final or a play-off final."
