Top two keep up the battle

Chelsea and Manchester United both won again over the weekend so they are still seperated by a point in what is now a two horse race for the title. The London club though have certainly edged away from United in terms of goal difference with their third 7 goal haul of the season and it is now 8 better than United's.Arsenal have a Champions League place but the fourth place is really up for grabs now. Neither Spurs nor Manchester City won, but Villa and Liverpool did to tighten things up.Down at the bottom, sadly, our fate has been sealed with relegation to the Championship with Portsmouth and, barring miracles of biblical proportions (and Bolton are not involved), Hull.Below are the weekend stats, the Premier League goalscorers, each club's disciplinary record and the penultimate set of 2009/10 fixtures. The Week's ResultsSaturday 24th AprilArsenal 0 Manchester City 0Manchester United 3 Tottenham 1Bolton 2 Portsmouth 2West Ham 3 Wigan 2Hull 0 Sunderland 1Wolves 1 Blackburn 1Sunday 25th AprilAston Villa 1 Birmingham 0Chelsea 7 Stoke 0Burnley 0 Liverpool 4Everton 2 Fulham 1The Week's StatsBiggest winChelsea 7-0 v Stoke (home)Total goals scored31 (19 home - 12 away)Player scoring most goals3 - Salomon Kalou (Chelsea)Highest Attendance75,268 - Manchester United v TottenhamLowest Attendance20,526 - Bolton v PortsmouthTotal Yellow Cards29Total Red Cards2Most cards in a gameArsenal v Manchester City (6Y) - Mike DeanHull v Sunderland (4Y 2R) - Lee ProbertThe leading scorers (league only)26Wayne Rooney (Manchester United)25Didier Drogba (Chelsea)24Darren Bent (Sunderland)22Carlos Tevez (Manchester City)20Frank Lampard (Chelsea)18Jermain Defoe (Tottenham)Fernando Torres (Liverpool)15Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal)13Emmanuel Adebayor (Manchester City)Gabriel Agbonlahor (Aston Villa)Louis Saha (Everton)12Dimitar Berbatov (Manchester United)Florent Malouda (Chelsea)10Cameron Jerome (Birmingham)Hugo Rodallega (Wigan)9Nicolas Anelka (Chelsea)Andrey Arshavin (Arsenal)Craig Bellamy (Manchester City)John Carew (Aston Villa)Carlton Cole (West Ham)Steven Gerrard (Liverpool)Dirk Kuyt (Liverpool)Hat Tricks (league only)19th Aug3 - Jermain Defoe - Hull v TOTTENHAM12th Sep3 - Yossi Benayoun - LIVERPOOL v Burnley26th Sep4 - Robbie Keane - TOTTENHAM v Burnley26th Sep3 - Fernando Torres - LIVERPOOL v Hull31st Oct3 - Aruna Dindane - PORTSMOUTH v Wigan21st Nov5 - Jermain Defoe - TOTTENHAM v Wigan28th Nov3 - Wayne Rooney - Portsmouth v MANCHESTER UNITED11th Jan3 - Carlos Tevez - MANCHESTER CITY v Blackburn23rd Jan4 - Wayne Rooney - MANCHESTER UNITED v Hull9th Mar3 - Darren Bent - SUNDERLAND v Bolton27th Mar4 - Frank Lampard - CHELSEA v Aston Villa29th Mar3 - Carlos Tevez - MANCHESTER CITY v Wigan25th Apr3 - Salomon Kalou - CHELSEA v StokeDisciplinary Record (all domestic games)ClubYRClubYRArsenal671Liverpool575Aston Villa712Manchester City663Birmingham731Manchester United636Blackburn674Portsmouth845Bolton725Stoke755Burnley653Sunderland867Chelsea645Tottenham631Everton652West Ham703Fulham481Wigan612Hull726Wolves644Average Attendances (league only)AvgeClubHighLow74,866Manchester United75,16973,70959,882Arsenal60,10359,10346,141Manchester City47,34842,74543,403Liverpool44,39241,11641,383Chelsea41,83640,13740,551Sunderland47,32734,82137,780Aston Villa42,78832,91736,943Everton39,65233,66035,803Tottenham36,03135,31833,335West Ham34,98030,02428,134Wolves29,02326,66827,216Stoke27,50026,72825,977Blackburn29,66023,11024,345Fulham25,70021,41424,267Birmingham28,95819,92224,089Hull24,90922,82221,438Bolton23,28417,84920,344Burnley21,76118,39718,929Portsmouth20,82117,51018,463Wigan20,44716,172The Next FixturesSaturday 1st MayBirmingham v Burnley (12:45)Stoke v EvertonManchester City v Aston VillaTottenham v BoltonPortsmouth v Wolves.Sunday 2nd MayFulham v West HamSunderland v Manchester United (16:00)Liverpool v Chelsea (13:30).Monday 3rd MayBlackburn v Arsenal (17:00)Wigan v Hull (13:30)Wednesday 5th MayFulham v Stoke (20:00)Manchester City v Tottenham (20:00)
