Scholes wants repeat display

Paul Scholes believes Manchester United will progress from their UEFA Champions League tie with Inter Milan, providing they can repeat their performance in Italy a fortnight ago. United were dominant for large spells in the San Siro but had to settle for a goalless draw due to wastefulness in front of goal.A lack of an away goal for Sir Alex Ferguson's side means the tie is delicately poised, with many suggesting United could rue failing to break down the Italians. But Scholes draws confidence from their display away from Old Trafford and is confident a similar performance would see them through to the quarter-finals. Dangerous"We didn't allow Inter to play and the only thing that was missing was the goal," said Scholes."We created enough chances to win two or three games and I accept 0-0 can be a dangerous scoreline."But if the first game is anything to go by, we should have a great chance."It is a tricky situation. If they do get a goal we will have to get two."But we are more than capable of doing that with the players we have."It promises to be an intriguing battle, not least because Jose Mourinho has such an outstanding head-to-head record against Ferguson. No bearingOn the 13 occasions the two men have met, Ferguson has emerged victorious just once, not that Scholes feels it will have any effect whatsoever."I don't think Jose Mourinho being their manager has any bearing on the actual game," added Scholes."It didn't during the first one."He is just the manager of their team. There is not much he can do on the night."If we get anywhere near the level we did in Milan, hopefully we will be okay."
