Sunderland's Fraizer Campbell will not lose sleep if he pushes Hull closer to drop

The former Manchester United forward set up the Dean Windass goal that secured Hull top-flight football for the first time two years ago at Wembley and will return to the KC Stadium on Saturday intent on ending his former club's Premier League adventure.'It would be a very strange feeling if I scored tomorrow and that goal ended up helping to relegate Hull, when you think I was part of the team which helped them gain promotion,' Campbell said.Sunderland sign Fraizer Campbell'I did not go there until October, but straight away I was playing and scoring goals. It was a great season and I enjoyed every minute of it.'Achievement-wise, winning promotion with Hull was one of the best days of my life in football.'Of course, it is risky going into the play-offs but if you win then it is the way to get promoted because it is so exciting.'I am proud of playing my part in that and I would like to see Hull stay up because I have friends there.'However, I am a Sunderland player now and tomorrow I will be doing everything I can to make sure we take the points we need to give us a chance of finishing in the top 10.'Huddersfield-born Campbell was on loan at Hull from United when he helped Phil Brown's team win their play-off final against Bristol City but after a season's loan at Tottenham he rejected the chance to return there on a long-term basis in favour of joining Steve Bruce's Sunderland when he left Old Trafford.'Manchester United told me I was free to talk to other clubs and I knew Hull were interested and they were the first to actually put a bid in for me,' the former England Under-21 international said.'Once the news of the bid came out, everybody assumed I was on my way to Hull but that was not true. I was still talking to other clubs, and when Sunderland came in for me I wanted to come here.'So it was not true I had agreed to join Hull and then went back on that to join Sunderland. The confusion was because Hull's bid became public and people jumped to the wrong conclusion.'I have no regrets about coming to Sunderland I am very happy. When the chance came to join up with Steve here at Sunderland, I knew he thought highly of me and it made it an easy decision to make."
