Cisse finds limbo 'annoying'

On-loan Sunderland striker Djibril Cisse has admitted the uncertainty surrounding his future is having a negative effect on him. French attacker Cisse is currently on a season-long loan at the Stadium of Light from Ligue 1 side Marseille. It is not yet known if the former Liverpool player will remain in the North East, with the Black Cats reluctant to commit to a deal until their Premier League status is secured. But Cisse, who has netted nine top-flight goals this campaign, is eager for his future to be resolved sooner rather than later, after conceding he is struggling to cope with being left in limbo. He said in the Sunderland Echo: "It is not just affecting me - I have family and children to think about. Frustrated"It is really annoying me, to be honest. "I would like to know where I'm going to be next season but it is not me who decides. The board must make a decision. "I know things have changed because the British currency is not as strong. "We also still need to get points to make sure we stay in the Premier League - that's everyone's priority at the moment. "It is no one's fault that the decision is not made but I still need to know." Of the possibility of returning to Marseille, he added: "I really don't want to go back."
